Born in Turin from an aristocratic family, she graduated from highschool in the same city, specializing in foreign languages.
Upon achieving a master in marketing and public relations, Matilde joined the Public Relations Department of FIAT as hostess first and, later on, as event coordinator.
In 1973 she joined the family business which was found by her father 15 years before.
SINA Hotels then owned two luxury properties, the Grand Hotel Villa Medici in Florence and the Hotel Bernini Bristol in Rome.
Matilde’s passion for beauty, her refined taste for style, design and décor together with her enthusiasm and desire to grow have brought her and her brother Bernabò to do their utmost for the growth of the company, which today counts eleven prestigious hotels in Italy’s premier destinations.
Matilde is married to a nobleman from Sicily and has a son who works in SINA Hotels, too. She loves reading, travelling and staying in her country house when she has free time.
She is AIDDA’s member since 1993, President of Lazio Delegation for 6 years and from 2020 is Vice President AIDDA Italy.
